Bonnie McQuillan AOCA

Bonnie McQuillan owns and operates the Village School of Art in Osgoode
Village (South Ottawa )
She conducts 8 to 12 week programs for children and adults in all mediums of
fine art. She also coordinates and delivers tailored programs on site for
homeschool groups, preschool children, as well as special-needs children and
adults.  Other fun stuff offered at the Village School of Art include Art
Birthday Parties,  A Splatter room, Summer camps  and  March break camp.

Since 2005 she has been delivering curriculum specific programs to
elementary schools JK through grade six ( as required by the Ministry of
Education for Ontario) throughout Ottawa and the area.

Bonnie is the artist in residence at Acorn Early Learning Center in the Glebe,
Bank Street Ottawa.  She works with  children ages 1 1/2 years to five years
weekly guiding them through progressive projects that take several weeks to
complete.  The projects are coordinated with the teacher's to help the children
achieve a thorough understanding of their subject matter, art materials and
techniques.

Bonnie's work includes paintings, book illustrations and murals. Bonnie's
work hangs in private collections in Ireland, Taiwan, California and across
Canada.
